On Thursday, October 17th, 2019, Glasgow Archaeological Society will be welcoming the first guest speaker of our 2019-2020 Lecture Programme.

It is with great pleasure that I write to report on the successful delivery of our conference held in Glasgow at the beginning of December. Individual statements of expenditure will be provided to each sponsor, but I provide here an overview of the event which is common to all.
Each year, Glasgow Archaeological Society hosts the Dalrymple Lecture Series, a programme of themed talks which are hosted by a guest lecturer. This year's Dalrymple Lecture Series will be given by Professor Adam T. Smith, on the subject of The Civilization Machine.

Each year, Glasgow Archaeological Society organises and hosts a programme of monthly lectures by speakers from Britain and abroad, which runs from October through to April.
On Thursday April 18th, 2019, Glasgow Archaeological Society will be holding its Annual General Meeting, starting at 7.15pm in lecture room 208 in the Sir Alexander Stone building on University Garden. This will be followed by Bob Will's lecture on 20 Years of Archaeology on St Kilda, at the same venue and starting at 7.30pm, which will bring the 2018-2019 GAS lecture programme to a close.
